Question for Friends

Has anyone "monitzed" their blog? If so, what are your thoughts on this? Thank you.

what does that mean?

To "monitize" your blog is to turn your blog into a source of a small amount of income by allowing Google or some other group to place advertising content on the blog.

Just say no.

I know that is what it is and does, but I wonder if it wrecks the page. Probably so.

Can you just think this one through for a minute. Do you really think you would have ANY control over what advertizing would be posted for all to associate with your blog! I could give you some possible examples, but I think you get the idea.
Yikes!

You'll probably have to put up with ads like "10 ways to impress girls when going out".

Since you mention Obama a lot, pro-choice and pro-Obama nonsense might litter your blog. Monetizing is based on word association not thought association. The Google servers don't think they process.

You need a lot of hits to start making money.

I am convinced: I will not monetize!
