"Does God Exist?"

I will be preaching both morning messages and the evening message at Grace Chapel in Englewood, CO this Sunday, July 12. The title is, "Does God Exist?" I have never preached on that before, but was asked to do so. I will give three arguments for God's existence and explain why this is important.

"But of course God exists? We need arguments and sermons on this claim?"

Sadly, this is the attitude many have in today's church, and thus are unable to speak reasonably with those who are agnostic/atheist. Hopefully, you won't encounter much of this.

What are the three arguments that you are going to teach, Dr. Groothuis? Are you going to use an approach that is similar to the approach that William Lane Craig uses? I hold the view that the Spirit uses Craig’s arguments for the existence of God very effectively.

Moral, ID (molecular machines), resurrection of Christ.

It sounds like you are going to be giving great information. When your book on apologetics is published, I want to read it.

Dr. Groothuis,

Is there any possibility that you would post either the sermon audio or a transcript. It sounds interesting.

The church may record and put on their web page. Check with them.
