You know, being a "watchman" and "prophet" (see Isaiah 62:6; and Ezekiel 2:3-7) must be frustrating and tiring...do people listen?
Of course, Ezekiel 2:7 pretty well answers that one,"But you shall speak My words to them whether they listen or not..."
"Soft despotism"? It is looking pretty rock hard to me.
Instead of "Hope & Change" I am afraid we are going to receive "Ropes & Chains" (from a sign that I saw at the Albuquerque Tea Party on 4/15.)
Have you seen this excellent article in Imprimus (Hilldale College) by Mark Steyn? It addresses "soft despotism" and is a very good read.
