In light of the previous post, my mother died early in the morning on December 6.
I have followed you blogs, have wanted to comment, but have not known what to say but have mostly wanted to avoid the fear they have aroused in me. My mother is 78, very frail, sickly, and slowly sliding into increasing memory loss. I am very close to her and totally unprepared for the inevitable.
I cannot imagine your grief. I don't want to imagine your loss.
Please accept my profound sorrow and sympathy at this time.
Our condolences, dear brother. We will pray for the Father of mercies & God of all comfort to make His presence especially noticeable in your mourning.

Douglas, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Based upon all you have shared, I know you will miss her greatly. I pray your friends, family and Lord will give you peace and comfort.
Sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. We pray that our Lord will comfort you and Rebecca in the days and weeks to come.
Some years back you two were kind enough to pray for my dad as he was terminally ill, and to advise me regarding his involvement in New Age stuff. Your advice was, "Ask God to burden people to pray for him." And people did! And he prayed to receive Christ! It has made all the difference in losing him. I pray you are truly comforted in this knowledge as well regarding your mom. So glad you got to spend some time with her recently.
sorry to hear that. May God bless you through good friends and memories in your grieving.
