- Nothing on this blog represents the position of Denver Seminary. I am a Christian, philosopher, teacher, writer, and preacher, who is Professor of Philosophy at Denver Seminary. My most recent of my twelve books is Philosophy in Seven Sentences. My magnum opus is Christian Apologetics: A Comprehensive Case for Biblical Faith (InterVarsity Press, 2011). Against all reason?
Not when the liberal modern conception of reason is rather Humean in nature. That is, it exists to rationally satisfy all human desires.
Another example of Father's Day insanity is the cover article in the Atlantic Montly by Hanna Rosin proclaiming "The End of Men". Imagine that Liberal outrage if any Politically Correct group was put in the place of men.
"Against All Reason" should be the title of a book on the subject -- yours?
