TV Worth Watching
You read the title correctly. This is an upcoming interview with historian Paul Johnson, one of best and most readable historians of our time--and conservative, too. However, since I don't have cable, I cannot watch it. Back to his books I go.
The show Book TV almost makes me want to get cable. Almost. Except for the huge irony of the premise. But there are other notable authors on intellectual non-cable shows such as Charlie Rose and other PBS shows.
Do you know about www.hulu.com? I wonder if they would have this show online after it's aired.

You can view it here. I watched it. It was very informative and edifying despite some of the ridiculous call-in questions.
