Dave, I would suppose that "graphic truths" would be the subset of "photographs" that includes the ones you mention.
I'm not sure even so that I think it is good to encourage people to make their moral decisions based on inarticulate, personal revulsion.
For one thing, many things can be made to appear revolting. For another, pretty much any psychologist can help you get over your inarticulate, personal revulsions....
