Douglas Groothuis lecture now on line

My lecture, "What Philosophers Wish Theologians and Biblical Scholars Knew About Philosophy," is now posted on my web page. It is 51 minutes long and was delivered at Denver Seminary on April 5, 2007.

I'm currently listening to this and I have one question (at this moment): is philosophy really just the creation of and ordering of linguistic propositions, as your discussion of philosophy as logical and systemic seems to imply?

There is another evangelical seminary that offers a MA in philosophy, Southern Evangelical Seminary. This is a new program they have recently started. I've been working on this program since January. So far, I've been pretty impressed. Of course, I'm taking the program externally, which means the majority of my work is done a part from the campus. I'm in my second class now History of Ancient and Medieval Philosophy.

I enjoyed your lecture immensely. One thought that I do have is that after listening to it, I've gained a new appreciation for Carl Henry, as I've been working my way through God Revelation and Authority.
