Ponder This for a Week

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.--Ecclesiastes 9:11 (KJV).

  1. Thanks for this reminder. I love this passage, which seems to pronounce the death sentence on most conspiracy theories and offers competitive hope to those of us who are not particularly strong or wise. I'm sure you did not post this in anticipation of the NCAA basketball tournament, but there is always a lesson there as well.
