"The Great Evangelical Disaster"

In 1984 Franky Schaeffer (Francis Schaeffer's son) produced an animated film called, "The Great Evangelical Disaster" to go along with a book of that title by the senior Schaeffer (which was his last; he died a few months after it was released). I am interested to know if this film (which I somehow never saw) is available on DVD or video cassette. Does anyone know about this? Amazon has nothing.

  1. I've seen DVDs for Schaeffer at eBay, but I never paid any attention to what they were. You might want to keep watch there.

If they don't have direct access to it I would guess they could point you in the right direction.

  4. Have you tried contacting Gospel Films in Muskegon, Michigan? I was able to acquire a series by Schaeffer that they put on Video for me called Reclaiming the World. This is a mutli-part series. If you are not familiar with this I would be glad to send the topics for each segment.

  5. Hello, good to see other people are curious about this film. I've seen screenshots in an early printing of Great Evangelical Disaster. I'd love to know if anyone has been able to track it down and what is on it.

  6. Our church showed that film (16mm?) about 25 years ago. I've been looking for a DVD ever since.
