I tend to think he's right. Especially considering: economically they have considerable leverage of exports to imports, the desire for a growing currency on the world stage, etc. and of course a massive military of foot soldiers. <br /><br />Like you said with the declining moral fabric of this country America is following other empires before us, and will eventually fall into obscurity or at least severely weakened. The history of empires is circular like that. It will be exciting in our life times to see the Chinese underground church become more prominent.
