Wade.

-That is almost as much as the populations of California and New York combined. Or about 2x the population of Texas.
-That is more than the populations of either South Africa or South Korea.
-That is about 6 million more than Stalin killed during his communist regime in Russia.
-That is about 4.5 x's as many as Hitler ever killed in Nazi Germany
-That is more than 100 x's as many as Mussolini killed in Fascist Italy.
-That is 50 x's more than the total number of American's who have died in combat throughout U.S. History.
-That is 12 million more than all the deaths in combat in all the wars in all the world during the entire 20th century.

Abortion will show to be the most embarrassing moral lapse in American history since the slave trade. And most of the arguments we use for abortion work equally well for slavery (ie: economics, convenience, "not really human," etc). Scary!

I pray that none your readers can ever see the cross as a recliner. Lord forgive us for we have sinned.

Sincerely,
John FerrerUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04062262229942332398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14410967.post-59886704771664077932008-10-12T19:19:00.000-06:002008-10-12T19:19:00.000-06:00Amen.This is what the beloved curmudgeon does best...Amen.

This is what the beloved curmudgeon does best. It is so good to hear you calling us to action against the injustice in this world. As Christians, we are God's agents of redemption until he returns. We need to be uncomfortable and fight against evil in this world.

This is so refreshing to hear from you and from your blog.
Amen, my brother.BJShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05326277125704522469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14410967.post-24445798810851653172008-10-12T17:03:00.000-06:002008-10-12T17:03:00.000-06:00Good post, Doug. While we are loved and forgiven, we shouldn't think that gives us license to blithely accept the injustices of our day.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05074257624733067171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14410967.post-4245530683901728742008-10-12T16:53:00.000-06:002008-10-12T16:53:00.000-06:00I just discovered John Arndt (1555-1621). The theme is the absolute essential nature of true repentance. This, in my opinion, needs be our starting point.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14410967.post-32305825580084099552008-10-12T16:51:00.000-06:002008-10-12T16:51:00.000-06:00Amen!
