If so, it seems that our faith will be variable with the results of empirical inquiry. Many believers resist this conclusion, yet maintain both the historical nature of the event and the access to it through historical methods. But if not, is the historical data merely superfluous (perhaps supererogatorily provided by God as an epistemic grace)?

Personally I'm generally comfortable with my religious beliefs being dependent in the ways my other beliefs are, but I suspect this (somewhat dismal) attitude is an oddity.JDBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12642092698398859527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14410967.post-39417152239793345472010-04-03T16:47:40.908-06:002010-04-03T16:47:40.908-06:00Doug,

It is the first one of those that I have received! Given that I have a grand total of three Facebook Friends should I be surprised? Probably not...

I appreciate that you are thinking of me and would go to the trouble of sending this article to me. While our worldviews seem now to be quite diverse, please know that you maintain a presence in my heart.

Happy Easter to you!

Your Old Friend,

SteveSteve Schulerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17507446648186799208noreply@blogger.com
